#ObjectProject opens today at @国立アメリカ歴史博物館! This new learning space has a unique shape to it
The centerpiece is a 40-foot-long sculpture made up of different sized cases that contain around 250 objects altogether. You can walk around—and under!—the sculpture in any direction; there’s no “wrong” order in which to explore the objects
I find it fascinating to move from a 1930s Monitor Top refrigerator to a 1990s PalmPilot and discover similar stories about how people used these objects to transform their daily lives. –Caitlin
