21/100: trying new things :: some transparency. I have moments like today due to life and it's unpredictable beauty and at times terror, being utterly human, and the spectrum of mixed emotions & flux on national holidays, where I allow myself to become inoculated with the distractions. When this happens, the thoughts of bon bons (or in my case, Ben & Jerry's Cherry Garcia froyo because while I like living on the edge, I also like keeping the edge off mah hips, so yeah) and hibernation look very inviting and the steam of 100 day projects seem to be running on vapors. But the truth is this is the time where I really want to press through and onward more than anything. I want to taste my blood, sweat and tears as I discover muscles within that I didn't even know I had. It's okay to take a breather and even a bite of ice cream along the way... just as long as you keep on going, walking, running, crawling, one small tiny step or leap at a time. So here's to finishing the course, acknowledging the real (and sharing it too), and loving yourself to tell yourself, "Get up! You got this!"?????? Also, just stopping to BREATHE and think of five things which then turns into ten which then turns into more than I could ever count until all I have are tears in terms of all that I can be thankful for.
