One of those days you just need a simple yet satisfying dinner to end the night.
Traditional Hakka Rice 河婆客家擂茶 at Tanjong Pagar Food Centre is one of my favorite places to satisfy my craving for thunder rice.
At $3.50 (white rice) and $4 (brown rice), each mouthful is a wonderful mix of rice and the delicious crunch of vegetable greens, tao kwa and peanuts.
Their tea broth is so yummy that I often finished the whole bowl too. I like to have thunder rice with some chilli to give it a little kick.
And they don't charge additional for take aways too! ❤️❤️ do expect queues during office lunch peak hours.
