Breaking: The United States Supreme Court has just announced that they will be taking up four cases challenging state bans on same-sex couples' marriages! ----------------------------------------- A ruling would be expected before SCOTUS adjourns in June for its summer recess. Here's hoping the justices decide once and for all that regardless of their personal religious beliefs or political views, they finally rule that LGBT citizens should have the freedom to marry. ----------------------------------------- The tide has significantly shifted over the past couple of years and marriage equality has proven to be inevitable. However, until that day comes, LGBT couples and their families continue to be harmed. No one should have to wait to be equally respected and protected under the law.
