A model’s schedule isn’t always easy, and it’s rarely nine to five! In this week’s installment of #SUNDAYSTORIES find out when falling asleep on the job is occasionally acceptable... Years ago I was in Paris for fashion week and was honored to wear a look in the @Balenciaga show. The night before the show my look still wasn’t done. They wanted the fit to be perfect, so I kept going back and forth to the studio for fittings well into the night. Finally around 4 or 5am, someone came out of the workroom dragging a beanbag chair and asked if I wouldn’t mind just staying until the dress was ready. At that point, 3 weeks into the fashion week marathon I was exhausted, so I just curled up and slept on that beanbag chair at Balenciaga all night... then walked in the show five hours later. The look fit perfectly.
