37 years ago today: The Panama Canal treaties, calling for the U.S. to turn over control of the waterway to Panama, are signed.This snapshot from the Canal Zone shows Edgar Fogleman and friends. Fogleman spent ten years working with the canal project and invented a new rock drill.
