The view from the top of Lookout Hill on Cuttyhunk Island. Cuttyhunk is one of the Elizabeth Islands to the southwest of Cape Cod, and is only accessible by ferry from New Bedford, Massachusetts or by private boat. This small island measures less than one square mile, and has a year-round population of around 50 people according to the most recent census--but locals put that figure closer to 20.
