Bushy-crested hornbills at their nest cavity, where they have come to bring food to the female and chicks inside. Female hornbills stay inside their nest in a hollow tree like this for the entire time they incubate their eggs and raise the chicks, which can be three months. They are dependent on the male and older offspring from previous years to deliver food regularly.
