Under consideration for protections by the Endangered Species Act the #pika lives in the high alpine terrain of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Warming temperatures are forcing the Pika into higher cooler habitat. They can be seen this time of year collecting and storing grasses for the long winter months ahead.
