A rainy day at Yellowstone yesterday meant all the geothermals stood out in the crisp air. As climbers, we practically live outside and are spoiled to have nature to ourselves all the time. Yellowstone's crowds can be overwhelming, but with a short hike off the road, you have the place to yourself. Pretty cool to see what the earth is capable of, even if we didn't see a grizzly bear. Maybe next time.
