Meet the Guggenheim’s vintage Steenbeck—a decades-old 35mm and 16mm film editing table in the lobby of our theater. “A lot of people come, they look at it, they ask questions about it,” says Norman Proctor, our theater projectionist. “Most people don’t know exactly what it is—they know it’s got something to do with film, but that’s about all they know about it.” Do you have any information about this machine?
