The Panerai Luminor GMT PAM29 introduced in 1998 and limited to 1500 units featured a very unique dial that was dubbed the “Tuxedo” Dial because of the almost ribbed vertical texture look to it that you can faintly see in this picture. This model was reissued in 2010 with an “M” Serial number and limited to only 1000 that time. The “A” & “B” models featured a T Dial while the “M” model featured in this picture use a Super Luminova Dial. The M series also has a little different in that it doesn’t have the little markers between the hour baton markers. They did however keep a very cool feature of the early GMT models, the sweeping second hand. You will also notice the 24 hour Bezel is very near and dear to the #Rolex Explorer bezel.
