Welcome to the third installment of #ArtThursday! Today we make our way to National Harbor in Prince George's County, Maryland, home of "The Awakening." This dramatic sculpture, created in 1980 by J. Seward Johnson, Jr., is made of five separate pieces to give the impression of a giant struggling to free himself from the earth.
