Last week when I was traipsing every day through the fields and forests, and sliding over ice and into puddles, I felt suddenly - vividly - aware of how much energy I pull from the earth beneath my feet. Even snowshoeing took me too far from this life force. I craved desperately the uneven contours of hard mud, mounds of granite, and everything between. Even more telling is my perpetual urge to sleep on the ground. Beds are lovely and squishy and look nice in a bedroom, but I've been known to pull out a sleeping bag and camp out on my living room floor. Just because. Are you earthy? Or do you perhaps crave the sky? Or the ocean? Or maybe you've yet to find your connection to these energies. If that's the case, I urge you to get out there and play. And if you feel too tired to play, I urge you even more. ?
