It’s also a statement.
Asian women can relate… we all grew up wanting that long black bone-straight hair. I know I did!! So I sat in that salon, for years, getting that magic straight perm, paying my hard earned mula on tryna achieve that look.
No more tho.
I’m on a journey to love what I’ve been born with.
So what if I’m not anything like any other Asian woman in every way? I wanna get to the point where I give no fucks about what the norm is.
