As the still-green leaves of the Takato Kohigan cherry trees begin to fall, maple trees begin to show their autumn colors. The foliage of over 250 maple trees is so beautiful that an autumn festival is held at the park during the viewing season between late October to nearly November. The Takato Shin-soba Festival will be held at the same time as well, so you can enjoy soba noodles made with freshly harvested buckwheat. *The Takato Castle Ruins Momiji Festival will be held from 10/28 to 11/5.
