奇跡の大樹
「大峰高原 七色大カエデ」
＠池田町

樹齢250年を超える「七色大カエデ」

終戦直後、畑を作るために切断され、
切り株だけが残りましたが
その後再び発見された際には、
切り株から枝が伸びて見事な造形美を
作り出しました😀✨️

10月中旬頃からの紅葉の季節には、
一本の木に色とりどりの葉を身に付け、
強く美しくたたずむ姿が魅力的です✨️🍁✨️

The Nanairo Ōkaede Maple Tree of Omine Kogen
(Ikeda Town)

At the top of a small hill on the plateau of Omine Kogen is a great 250-year-old maple tree called Nanairo Ōkaede.

At the end of World War II, this tree was cut down to make room for pasture, but it was discovered nearly twenty years later that the tree had survived and branches were growing out of its stump.

Around mid-October, the tree comes to life with the myriad colors of autumn, including lingering greens, bright yellows, warm orange and more.
