タリン・サザンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (タリン・サザンInstagram)「Last month I spoke at @fortunemag’s Brainstorm conference on "The World's First Superhumans.” In the talk, I share the stories of two incredible people - James and Nathan (@bcicandobetter)- both of whom I know well through my work at @blackrockneuro - and both of whom suffered devastating accidents that left them paralyzed. Even though James and Nathan live on opposite sides of the country, their adventurous spirits took them down uniquely similar paths: they both signed up to participate in groundbreaking neuroscience research studies that would require implantation of a brain-computer interface (BCI). Since then, these two brave & creative individuals have been accomplishing incredible feats of science: 🤖 operating robotic arms in 3D space... 🎮 playing video games... 🖼 creating art.... 🤝 "sensing" touch.... ....and more, all with just their thoughts.
