It’s kinda like Formula One but totally electric… and it’s amazing ! 🏎️ ⚡️ I’ve had the chance to experiance @fiaformulae before, but this is the first i’ve seen it here in London. It’s impossible not to feel in awe when you stand next to these vechiles. They are incredble feats of engineering and design, and they’re constantly being developed to improve output and efficiency. Formual E isn’t just about speed (although they do go up to 200mph 🤯), it’s the first sport that requires tactical energy management as the drivers don’t actually have enough battery to complete each race. In order to win they need to use tools like regenerative breaking, slipstreaming and attack mode. It’s an incredible driver (no pun intended) for the development and understanding of electric transportation. Don’t get me wrong the sport isn’t perfect from a sustainability perspective, but the cultural impact of making electric ‘cool’ and the technological development that comes with it is invaluable. This is the first step towards a giagantic transition in the transportation sector. Have you watched the sport?
