This trip to the Arctic in 2015 changed my life. ⁠

I often talk about this experience when reflecting in my journey. I didn't know much about Climate Change at the time, but @finnharries had been studying it at design school and he'd arranged this trip to make a film about glacial retreat with the @wwf_uk. Honestly, I was just excited about visiting a unique and remote place. We joined a scientist called Alun Hubbard who'd been studying the ice sheet for over 10 years and we were dropped by helicopter on the Jakobshavn Glacier which is of the fastest retreating in the world. We were left to spend a night camping on top of the glacier and I will never forget the sound of huge pieces of ice falling off the front.

It was the first time I had travelled to the front lines of the crisis and I completely overwhelmed by the changes that I saw. It's been eight years since then and it's safe to say everything in my life since has been coloured by this experience. It set me in a mission of trying to understand and ultimately communicate the human impact if the climate crisis.
