I chose Rose Black Sumi ink to work on this piece. 🌹🌚 #SumiKannyu is a crackle glaze achieved by careful control of the raw materials which produce minute fractures on the outer surface of the glaze. The fractures are filled in with sumi, to highlight the unique crackling patterns.
