This is a Japanese confectionery inspired by the work of the Japanese painter, Taikan Yokoyama, called "Asa-no-Reiho".
Yokoyama Taikan painted more than 1500 paintings of Mount Fuji. He left us with the words, "If you are poor, the Mt. Fuji drawn there will also be poor. To draw Mt. Fuji, you must draw it with an ideal."
Also,I took at Kawaguchi Sengen Shrine and Mt.Fuji.

こちらは、日本画家、横山大観の「朝の霊峰」と言う作品をイメージした和菓子。
横山大観は、約1500点以上の富士山を描いたとか。「己が貧しければそこに描かれた富士も貧しい。 富士を描くには理想をもって描かねばならぬ。」という言葉からも彼の情熱的な人柄が垣間見えます。
和菓子とお茶、とても美味しかったです。
ごちそうさまでした。
