Mt.Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan and has been revered as a sacred mountain, called "the source of art". Until 1872 (Meiji period), women were not allowed to climb the mountain, but some women disguised themselves as men to climb it. Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Mt. Fuji" is famous, but another masterpiece, "One Hundred Views of Mt. Yamamoto Shunkyo's "Susono no Haru" has a house with a thatched roof and cherry blossoms peeking through the trees. The exhibition will be held at the Yamatane Museum of Art until May 14th. 世界遺産登録10周年記念「富士と桜」へ。富士山は、芸術の源泉と呼ばれ、霊山として崇められてきた日本一高い山。 1872年(明治時代)までは、女子禁制の山でしたが、男性に扮して登った女性もいたり。そんな昔の人々も魅了してきた富士山、江戸時代からよく描かれるようになりました。葛飾北斎の「富嶽三十六景」は有名ですが、もう1つの傑作と呼ばれている墨摺絵で描かれた「富嶽百景」も展示されてあります。山元春挙作の「裾野の春」では、茅葺き屋根の家があり、木の間からは桜が覗く。背景には優しい色をし、大きくそびえ立つ富士山。その他、色んな画家達が描く富士山が展示されてあります。山種美術館にて5月14日まで開催中。 #山種美術館 #富士山 #葛飾北斎 #ひめかのさんぽ」4月5日 19時44分
