Kaikai Kiki Gallery @kaikaikikigallery is participating in the art fair Art Basel Hong Kong 2022 @artbasel which officially opens tomorrow.

Hisashi Eguchi @江口寿史 @江口寿史 , a manga artist and illustrator, will unveil his second painting at the fair. Eguchi originally led the manga industry with his comedy manga, but later concentrated on portraying women in a beautiful way. He is still at the forefront of the industry and his works have established a strong fan base.
Kaikai Kiki studio team created the paintings based on Eguchi's original illustrations. Under the direction of @村上隆 Murakami, the paintings were completed as official works of art, paying close attention to the subtle colors and composition during the production process. Please come and see the work onsite at the fair!

Art Basel Hong Kong @artbasel will open to the public from tomorrow. The online viewing room will also be on view at the same time.

カイカイキキギャラリー @kaikaikikigallery は、明日から公式オープンするアートフェア・アートバーゼル香港2022 @artbasel に参加しております。

今回のフェアで2作目となる大型絵画を披露するのが、漫画家でイラストレーターの江口寿史氏  @江口寿史 @江口寿史 です。元々はギャグ系の漫画で業界を牽引してきた江口氏ですが、その後女性を美しくことに集中。現在でも第一線で制作を続け、その作品群には数多くの根強いファンがついています。
江口氏の原画をもとに、絵画の制作を担当したのは、カイカイキキのスタジオチームです。村上 @村上隆 の指揮のもと、微細な色合いや構図にこだわって、アート作品として完成いたしました。ぜひお近くで作品をご覧ください。
