昨晩はオリンピック閉会式。次回オリンピック開催国、フランスのルイナールのシャンパンで、勝手に(^^)お祝いをさせていただきました〜。今回のオリンピックは感動の連続でした。すべてが思い通りにいかない状況の中、頑張ってオリンピックを実現させた人たちの努力は、想像をはるかに超えたものであったと思います。私の多くの友人もオリンピックを準備してきたスタッフでした。彼らが準備してきた期間は、１０年ではありません。それ以上の長い期間です。人の心をゆり動かすには、選手たちと同様、長い間夢を見続けなくてはいけないのだな、と感じたオリンピックでもありました。あー、楽しかったなぁ。選手のみなさんも、また日本に戻ってきてくれて、美味しいお寿司やお酒を楽しんでいただけて、いろんな出会いがあるといいなあ。本当に、ありがとうのオリンピックでした。

The Olympic Games have been a momentous experience. The effort of the people who worked so hard to bring the Olympics to life, when everything was not as it should have been, was beyond imagination. Many friends of mine were also part of the team that organized the Olympics. They have spent, not only ten years preparing for this. It's much longer than that. The Olympics made me more aware of the fact that to make something great happen, you have to keep dreaming for as long as the athletes. Oh, it was great fun.
