The first city we are visiting in Kyushu is Ibusuki of Kagoshima prefecture!

Can you imagine soaking in an onsen without water? At Ibusuki Sunamushi, you can enjoy this super unique only one natural sand bath in the world!

How it works is that you will be buried in hot sand that’s heated by the thermal spring underground, which it’s very relaxing and therapeutic, some say has great beauty effects too! It feels like a perfect combination of onsen + sauna!
