【Oirase Gorge】

Oirase Gorge is one of the most scenic nature attractions in the Tohoku Region. Each step along the 14km walking path through this ancient forest offers a glimpse of pristine beauty.

Although it’s located in Aomori Prefecture, it is very close by then northern regions of Akita.

I started my journey flying in to Odate-Noshiro Airport, leading me through a picturesque route that traversed Odate City, Kitaakita City, Kosaka Town, and onwards to the enchanting Lake Towada before crossing the border into Aomori with my fluffy companion @mutsu_mofumofu.
