市川渚さんのインスタグラム写真 - (市川渚Instagram)「1時間ほどのトレッキングで、ガジュマルが群生するのガジュマルの森へ🚶‍♀️見よ、この生命力……ガジュマルはそもそも戦前に日よけや防風のために小笠原に持ち込まれたらしいのだけれど、約100年経ってここまでになるとは思っていなかっただろうなあ……そして、なんとかつてはここに人が住んでいたらしい。確かに奥へ歩を進めてみると井戸（？）など人工物の形跡が。独自の生態系を持つ小笠原は珍しい固有種の木々草花の宝庫で、美しいボニンブルーの海だけでなく、山歩きもとても楽しかった。ガジュマルの森でPAT INN @hotelpatinn チームが淹れてくださった、ハンドドリップコーヒーも最高でした☕️ An hour's trek brings us to a banyan forest! The banyan trees were brought to the Ogasawara Islands before World War II to protect them from the sun and wind, but I guess they never thought the banyan trees would grow to this size after about 100 years. And it was once inhabited. Indeed, as we walked deeper, we found traces of human-made objects such as a well. With their unique ecosystem, the Ogasawara islands are a treasure trove of rare and endemic trees, plants, and flowers. I enjoyed not only the beautiful Bonin blue sea but also the mountain hiking!
