It’s time for Caturday! Enter the Asiatic golden cat (Catopuma temminckii). The wild feline has a wide range across southwest Asia, including parts of China and India, as well as in Vietnam and Thailand. It lives in a variety of forest habitats, where it preys on critters like squirrels, birds, and snakes. Though “golden” is in its name, individuals’ coats can vary in shades of brown, gray, or red.
