He was always a maverick but he started to come home less and less, and then just stopped. I knew he was safe as he'd been spotted several times by some of you guys who live local, but I never saw him. Today, as I was walking home from my postnatal Pilates, I decided to walk via the last place he was spotted and LOOK! 🤯 He seemed healthy and recognised me straight away. He was a little wary of Alf but he got really close. Anyway, he started following me home but was scared of the main road (he does know the way home via the back ways), so I went back with dinner and treats. I had to leave him when Alf woke up, but I feel so happy to have seen him! The question is, where has this free spirit been for 5 months? And will he return home now? He's still probably the only cat to have walked Hadrian's Wall (he followed me), to have graced the local pub where my parents live...
