He just sat there quietly next to me. I had just finished 3 races in 45 minutes and felt drained. I knew he was sitting there watching my every action. He saw one of my races where I had medaled and another where I had struggled. I tried to remain upbeat about it all the good and the bad, the wins and the losses, because he was watching. My energy was completely depleted. Then young Orlando a keen soccer player, leant across and said to me " I'm proud of you Pita sii". That hit differently. Any energy i had lost was soon rejuvenated. Sports can be brutal and there is a heavy price we pay...but I always feel blessed to have great people of all ages and walks of life by my side through both the wins and the losses.」2月10日 8時27分
