A stain of the ceiling we look at every night before falling asleep You and me hand in hand laying on the bed.

I say that stain looks like a ferocious lion. You say that stain looks like a terrifying rabbit.

You would never see my lion and
I would never see your rabbit.

Isn’t it so beautiful to see that mischievous iris flower ?
It is so frightening to see that cheerful dwarf drummer ?

Ha-ha , ha-ha

We all must be living in the universe of each own stained selves under one same ceiling.

わたしとあなたが手をつないで寝る前に毎晩みている天井のしみ。

あのしみわたしには奮い立つライオンにみえるわ。でもあなたには怯えるウサギにみえるという。

わたしのライオンは永遠にあなたにはみえない。

あなたのウサギが永遠にわたしにはみえないように。

とても美しいわね、あの怪しげな花菖蒲のようなしみ。

とてもおそろしいな、あの陽気に太鼓を叩く小人のようなしみ。

わたしたちきっとみんな、そんなふうにそれぞれの宇宙で暮らしているのかしらね。
