I have only photographed a small number of them, preferring as I do to focus my attention on the areas local to me, but here is a selection of just some of the mammal species that I have been privileged to have pointed my lens at. For me to choose a favourite species would be impossible, on one day it would be red foxes, another day would be mountain hares, another would be badger, brown hare, the list goes on and on. Of those mammals that I’ve yet to photograph it would be the pine marten and roe deer that I would most like to meet. The time of course, I hope at least, will eventually come and as always I’ll want to properly immerse myself in their stories for a reasonable period of time, if only because it takes me that long to take a decent image 😀. Whether you live on these shores or not, which UK mammal would you most like to encounter and why, I’d love to know?」1月25日 1時32分 - thephotosociety
