But luckily, we still have the evidence. The double page feature by Bob Hart titled ‘THE BOWIE FREAK OUT’ (top left in our montage), featured the image of a scantily clad Bowie onstage in Scotland taken by Roger Bamber. It was published in The Sun a couple of days after four shows in Scotland: Aberdeen, Dundee, Glasgow and Edinburgh. It seems the Scots were always very appreciative of the London boy, as reflected in Hart’s article.
