LIVE VENUES CELEBRATE DAVID BOWIE

“Sway through the crowd to an empty space...”

Among the many wonderful tributes paid to David Bowie over the weekend was one using the hashtag #Bowie5YearsGone. It was masterminded by David’s lighting designer and all around top Irish chap, the absurdly talented Tom Kenny.

Tom contacted lots of different music venues that David had played at over the years and asked them to remember our man on the fifth anniversary of his passing on their hoardings somehow.

Some of the biggest venues in the world were more than happy to oblige and others were sad not to be able to take part due to staff being furloughed. As you know, live music has been one of the unfortunate victims of the pandemic.

In no particular order, these are the ones that were able to participate.
