今日の和菓子：祝い松

北風が雪を運び、世界から色が消える季節。
それでもなお、色あせることなく青々とした葉を茂らせる松は、
古来より長寿と健康のシンボルであり、神の降りてくる依代（よりしろ）ともされてきた。
過ぎた年に対する感謝と、来たる年に対する期待を胸に。
どうかみなさまにおかれましても、善きことが穏やかに続きますように。

Today's Wagashi : Pine Trees
In winter, the world looses the color.
Yet, the pine tree, or matsu, never fade away and keep its green color fresh and vibrant.
So it is the symbol of endurance and longevity in Japan. 
This confectionery visualizes the pine trees which celebrate the new year.
