Rehearsing everyday and there were tons of unexpected things which we had to deal with and we couldn’t be sure until the last minute of the show. I was even waking up several times and dreaming about the show the night before. Lol I’m so glad that we were able to make this project happen and a reality to close off this year. I just didn’t want 2020 to end up to be like a year that I couldn’t achieve anything or that we had to give up on doing lots of stuff because of the pandemic. Wanted to find something that we could do because of this situation instead. And I always want to have that type of perspective, cuz I believe that’s the way we can find light for the future. In any situation we can keep challenging, and as long as we keep trying, we will never lose hope. We won’t lose to Covid-19. And also even if it’s a small step forward, we will continue to pave a way for a more brighter and sustainable future. I understand that issues like climate change, refugee crisis, discrimination which were part of the theme of this show, won’t be resolved over night. But as long as we keep screaming, even if it’s a tiny voice, it can have an important impact eventually. I’m also convinced that we artists can take on that role through our world and performances. I am very very thankful to all the Japanese and American staff who worked tirelessly, being stuck in the studio throughout the holidays. I’m very proud of the work we have achieved all together especially at an end of this crazy year. And thank you so much to everyone who watched the show!
