Hamish Bowles was my editor at the English magazine Harper's and Queen, and Cecilia Chancellor one of my favorite models. We went with her and Marie Sophie Wilson-Carr to Paraty, in Brazil. A place between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Paraty is a paradise of a time gone by, with its wonderful architecture and history. We also did some shots in Rio, one of these images was taken at the Jardim Botânico. Hamish is an amazingly hard working person, so we ended up including as many sights as possible! This would be one of the first steps, the training for my later extensive career shooting around the world, which I have done for 40 years. I have been so lucky to carry on visiting the wonderful country that is Brazil. _ En los 80 comencé a viajar para fotografiar en diferentes locaciones.
