🎨 Cette Adoration des bergers peinte par Luca Giordano vers 1688 provient vraisemblablement d'une série de dix-sept Scènes de la vie de la Vierge inventoriées au XVIIIe siècle dans la chambre de la reine, au palais royal de Madrid.

🎁 La Vierge Marie porte l’enfant dans ses bras tandis que Saint Joseph se tient debout, légèrement en retrait. Un groupe de chérubins apparaît dans un rayon lumineux qui illumine la Sainte Famille. Une foule s’approche par la gauche pour adorer Jésus avec des présents.

🖼 This Adoration of the Shepherds painted by Luca Giordano circa 1688 is probably one of a series of seventeen Scenes from the Life of the Virgin listed in an 18th-century inventory of the queen’s chamber in the royal palace in Madrid.

🎁 The Virgin Mary is holding the Infant Jesus in her arms, while Joseph is shown standing to one side. A number of cherubim hover in a ray of light which shines on the Holy Family. A group is approaching from the left, coming to worship the Infant Jesus and bringing gifts.
