This year prompted me to dive deep into my practices as a consumer, and how my choices impact the world we live in (and our future world). I REALLY got into it. I feel so much more empowered knowing what I do about proper recycling practices, the choices I make as a consumer, and how those things can contribute to the reduction of waste. I've even started to volunteer in local cleanups (which are so easy to find—just Google your city and plastic cleanup).
