I am continually amazed at how easy it is to make occasions feel special for our kids during this crazy time. I wrote about Harlow’s birthday on the blog today. I talk about her fabulous doughnut cake that she made all by herself, her numerous wardrobe changes, the old school games we played and her favorite gifts. But my main takeaway was that Harlow never once complained or got upset that she couldn’t celebrate with friends or have an elaborately planned birthday party like a normal year. Being with family, playing pin the tail on the donkey and decorations from Target were enough. Link in bio.
