After shooting 360 videos for Nat Geo of the COVID-19 victim's memorial created by artist Suzanne Firstenberg, I saw her at sunset walking the grounds of the memorial despite the heavy winds to raise the flags that were bent over. The memorial is made of more than 240 thousand white flags so far. As the death toll increases, so does the number of flags. The memorial spreads across a wide, oval lawn next to the DC Armory and the RFK stadium.
