What to do about stars if you lost your Gelly Roll pen? Create little bubbles of negative space! Here’s a quick little timelapse of my alternative galaxy technique for when I don’t have my white pen handy. It’s super therapeutic and can have a magical effect on a piece! I⁠ combined stippling & illustrative techniques with my 02 & 03 Pigma Micron fine liners to get some contrast between the humpback whale & chrysanthemums. I used a 05 & 08 Pigma Micron pen for the bubbly⁠⠀
