«With fashion, my entry point has always been through technology. I grew up playing Japanese role-playing games like Final Fantasy and through those experiences, I realized how effective fashion could be in creating identity and ultimately, a sense of power. What I always want to achieve from every image is creating that feeling of escapism, where someone’s perceptions of beauty are not tied down to what is realistic.
