He voted and was there with @asiplantthisseed which is an amazing organization based here in Philly 5. PRETZELS AT THE POLLS- some cute people came by with some delicious pretzels- it was so nice!( NOW I KNOW how accurately delicious @shappypretzel is) 6. Photobombing Sara’s pic of the beautifully prepared food✨❤️ I can’t decide if it was a good thing or a bad one or not a thing at all that there were no lines at the polling place we were at. I hope that it was good and means that people really voted early or took the mail in ballot option. But also- I’m glad we had time to talk to people and make connections. I talked with several different lawyers who were there to make sure no voter suppression was happening and other volunteers who were asking people who had voted to pledge to text 3 friends or family members to remind them to vote today. And we chatted with the actual poll workers who had volunteered. And I talked with a woman from @onwurd -which is Pennsylvania’s only African American owned and operated radio station. Overall, I’m obviously so glad we went and did something that was of service today.
