a whirlwind in Los Angeles. 1. when @chrisflemingfleming sent me an absolutely unhinged two page scene of essentially me just talking for us to perform together at Largo for his show last night, i was terrified AND thrilled(same emotion basically). And after we ran it exactly zero times, we did it on stage to a wonderful crowd and tbh? i think it went really great. (also lol when he said after “i forgot you’re like a real actress.” WE ALL FORGET THAT SOMETIMES, CHRIS.) 2. Pod listeners will understand the deep significance of this picture. it was a historic meeting 3. good god i miss the mirror selfies backstage @largo ❤️ with @emilybbb & @nataliewould who came to support/laugh( Natalie is @emilybbb ‘s @surefineokay! ) 4. when i tell you that @rozhernandez had me cackling with her set! i’ve known her a LONG time (she used to house sit for us in LA!) and i’m just so happy to see her thriving, honey!! 5. Ugh. i really really hope my beautiful ring is the last precious loved thing I lose in 2023. I’ve had it for so long & literally cannot believe it’s gone but i guess maybe that’s one of the themes for me this year. I guess I have to believe it. Also, I can’t replace it, even if i bought the same one again- it was just very special to me. I just hope now that whoever found it loves it and it’s as magical for them as it was for me for the last 17 years. 6. When you attempt to take a pic of your kid with her dad but she is in the middle of making plans with her friend and is trying to sneak a look at her texts. and. so. preteen. begins. 7. me and bb post wine 8. LA-NYC-LA and grateful to get to catch up on Larchmont as opposed to a picket line with my sweet @ザカリー・クイント ❤️ 9. @saltyshepnyc takes the best friend pictures and even though we were like SHIPS, at least @ジェニファー・コナー and i had a few hours (and martinis) to catch up in the sunshine 10. a fairly terrible picture of the full BB BDAY group which feels like a million years ago but was literally 3 days ago. (also the weekend is most of the discussion this week on the podcast) Does it feel like time is more of a m*therf*cker these days than usual? i guess we just have to enjoy the joy when it’s there.
