渋谷慶一郎さんのインスタグラム写真 - (渋谷慶一郎Instagram)「銀座に新しくオープンしたロロ・ピアーナの旗艦店で友人のビデオアーティストで日本では特にAphex Twinとのコラボレーションで知られているビデオアーティストのWeirdcoreが新作インスタレーション「An Odyssey of Touch」を発表しています。彼とは来年、東京の新国立劇場で上演される予定の僕の新作オペラ「Super Amgels」でコラボレーションすることになっていたので、1年以上前から連絡を取り合っていたのですが、ブランドと彼からのお誘いがほぼ同時にあったのには驚きました。外壁、室内壁、スクリーンオブジェなど様々な形式で発表される映像や、ニットの素材であるカシミアの構造を立体的なオブジェにした作品は、坂本さんの静謐な音楽（短いイレギュラーな低音が印象的だった）と相まって、とても気持ちがいい空間になっています。僕は彼の作品の情報量と未来か過去かわからないような美しさのバランスが作品によって常に変動しているところに魅力を感じています。 10月16日から25日まで同ビル4階で公開されているのでぜひチェックしてみてください。しかし、ロロ・ピアーナの内部は、ソファや壁から階段の手すりまで、すべてカシミアでできていて、とても気持ち良かった・・・インスタレーションを見終わった後はMade to oerderのベビーカシミアのニットを作って頂けるとのことで、ロロ・ピアーナでは非常にレアな色と教えてもらった黒のクルーネックに決めました。すごいヘビロテしそう。 At the newly opened Loro Piana flagship store in Ginza Tokyo, my friend, video artist Weirdcore is showing his new installation "An Odyssey of Touch".
