Through various clubs and non-profits, Nicol found Gina and finally joined her group on Saturday mornings. “It was hard running on my own, but I got it done. Once I joined the group downtown and led a group in Encinitas, the runs became easier and a lot more powerful for me. The more Gina and I worked together, along with a few other runners and volunteers, the bigger the movement became.  "The movement started as a virtual run for a small group of people, no more than 10. From there, we have grown to 11 local San Diego groups and over 15 Run4Breonna groups nationwide. Running with a group gives you confidence, community, and a sense of empowerment. No one is left behind, and everyone is extremely encouraging, no matter your pace.
