Over the past 40 years, his sprawling 30,000-square-foot warehouse on Highland Avenue has amassed an incredible collection of furniture, lighting, accessories and art. Through his extensive global travels, Joel has helped to introduce designers like Poul Kjaerholm and Jean Prouve to the American audience, and has become somewhat of a design icon himself along the way. Exploring his store today, it’s just as easy to stumble upon vintage gems by Tobia Scarpa as it is to discover contemporary local talents like artist and designer @chuckmoffitfurniture, and ceramicist @chrisguybrock.
