At this Bel Air home, the client wanted her walk-in closet to be space for spending time in and for entertaining friends. Given its size, we approached the design more like a living room, and included a seating area and soft carpet so that guests could relax and kick-off their shoes. The entire room is skinned with a patchwork of white-gold and silver-patina leaf, mirrors, and bronze details, camouflaging full-height closets and built-in drawers that are integrated into the panelling. Reflective portions help to make the room look more spacious, while fully enveloping the walls with one continuous treatment allows it to simultaneously feel more intimate. The metallic finishes, also repeated in the furniture and accessories, add even more glamour to the 1939 Georgian Revival property. XK」9月25日 9時04分
